4 Things You Must Have in Your Kitchen

If you want to indulge in hassle-free cooking, you need the correct tools. Instead of binge-buying, you can stock up on items slowly so that it is easier on your wallet. This will also help you figure out what your needs are in the kitchen.

Of course, having the essentials in your kitchen will make your life much easier. Even though you may find many exciting kitchen gadgets, you do not need them all. In fact, sticking to basic tools will get the job done as well. Your end goal is delicious home-cooked meals that are delicious.

Here are some things you must have in your kitchen:

1. Non-Stick Frying Pan

No household can go without eggs and pancakes for too long. This is why you absolutely need to have a non-stick pan in your kitchen. Of course, the pan does not only need to be used for making breakfast.

You can sauté vegetables in the pan, sear meat, and even make some delicious sauces. The only thing you need to be careful of is not using any non-abrasive tools on the surface of the pan that could scratch it. Look for a stainless-steel frying pan or an aluminum one. We would recommend buying a two-piece set with two frying pans of different sizes. This way, you can save time in the kitchen by making two things at once!

2. Saucepan

A saucepan can be used to cook anything with liquids, whether it is boiling vegetables, pasta, or even simmering beans.

You can get a 4- quart saucepan. Not only is it easy to handle and light enough to maneuver, but you can use it to cook for one person or even four. Look for a non-stick saucepan or a stainless-steel saucepan.

3. Glass Baking Dish

Whenever you are trying out new recipes that require an oven, you will need a glass baking dish that is safe to use. You cannot use any dish you like as an oven produces loads of heat. Any other dish that is not oven-safe will only crack, and you will have to deal with the damage.

When baking enchiladas, casseroles, or brownies, it is best to use a glass baking dish. This dish can also be used in the microwave on days you want to pre-cook vegetables or warm leftovers up from the previous day.

4. Measuring Spoons

Having a set of measuring spoons in the kitchen is bound to make your life easier. There will be tons of recipes you will come across that will require precision. For these recipes, you cannot eyeball the ingredients as this will only result in a disaster.

The best part about measuring spoons is that they can be used as mini spoons to scoop out dried herbs and spices. You can also throw these tiny spoons into spice jars for added convenience. Moreover, measuring spoons come stuck together, so you do not have to worry about losing or misplacing them.
